And on average, it eliminates 20% of unwanted body fat in those stubborn areas. It’s natural, safe, and can even be done over your lunch break.

How Does it Work?

It works by freezing fat to trigger apoptosis, which is programmed cell death. The fat cells die, then are metabolized through the body over the course of about 8 to 12 weeks. The ideal candidate is relatively fit with bulges of fat that aren’t easily removed by diet and exercise.

We also add an extra step in the process to speed up recovery called RejuvaSculpt. Studies have shown, with RejuvaSculpt, patients are able to lose an additional 50% of fat for better and faster results. It works by using sound waves in the treated area to break up the crystalized fat.

What to expect during treatment:

During the procedure, the practitioner vacuums the skin above the area of fatty tissue into an applicator that cools the fat cells. The cold temperatures numb the area, and some people report feeling a cooling sensation.

Most CoolSculpting procedures take around an hour. There is no recovery time because there is no damage to the skin or tissue. Some people report soreness at the site of CoolSculpting, similar to that they might have after an intense workout or minor muscle injury.

What is apoptosis?

Apoptosis is a form of programmed cell death that occurs in multicellular organisms. The average adult human loses between 50 and 70 billion cells each day due to apoptosis. For an average human child between the ages of 8 to 14 year old approximately 20 to 30 billion cells die per day.

What Should I Expect?

After the procedure, it may take around 8-12 weeks for the fat cells to leave the body. In that time, the area of fat will decrease by an average of 20%.
